Steve and Dustin from Stranger things - Artworks and Rant

Once again, I'm back with more Stranger Things artwork and more rant, and this time I'm focusing on the most iconic duo to ever come out of Hawkins: Steve Harrington and Dustin Henderson.Isn't it funny how a character can completely win you over? I'll be the first to admit it—like most people, I absolutely hated Steve in Season 1. He fit the classic "popular jock" mold and made some pretty questionable choices. But then, in later seasons, he didn't just grow on me; he became one of my absolute favorites. In fact, he's now one of the only characters in the series I genuinely relate to. Think about it: he's just a regular guy trying to figure his life out. He stumbles, he makes mistakes, he takes a job at a video store, and he ends up as an unlikely babysitter for a bunch of nerdy kids. He doesn't have superpowers or a genius-level IQ; he just has a baseball bat and a big heart. He feels more like a real, relatable human than almost anyone else o...

About Berserk

In the world of manga, it's pretty rare for a serious, adult-oriented seinen series to break through and become a genuine global phenomenon. Most of the biggest hits are shonen, aimed at a younger audience. But there is one huge exception to that rule. In fact, just calling it "mainstream" is an understatement. It's a series that has reached a level of extreme popularity all around the world. I'd bet that almost everyone in the anime and manga community has heard the name once, even if they've never picked up a volume themselves. I'm talking, about Berserk, the legendary dark fantasy manga written and illustrated by the late, Kentaro Miura.

My Opinion

I'll be totally honest, that was exactly my situation for the longest time. I'd heard the hype, seen the iconic panel of a man with a giant sword standing against a monstrous horde, and I thought, "Okay, it looks cool, but is it really that good?" I figured it was probably just overrated. I thought people were crazy about the art only. But let me tell you, I was completely wrong. The moment I finally sat down and started reading it, I began to understand. Page by page, chapter by chapter, it all clicked into place. The story pulls you into its brutal, medieval world, and at the center of it all is Guts, the Black Swordsman. And honestly, as I read, I just felt this overwhelming sense of pity for him. I don't think there's another character in all of fiction who has been put through as much sheer, unimaginable suffering as he has. From the moment he was born from a hanged corpse to a lifetime of betrayal, loss, and physical and emotional torment, his life is a never-ending nightmare. It's stupid but he made me realize how bad life can get ... I hope it doesn't for anyone though. But here's the thing that makes him so incredible: he never, ever gives up. He just keeps fighting. Maybe his goal started as pure revenge, but his struggle becomes something more. It's a testament to the human spirit's refusal to break. I won't lie, watching him get back up again and again, no matter how badly he's beaten, is genuinely inspiring. It's a powerful reminder that even fictional characters can move you and change your perspective on your own struggles.A massive part of why this story hits so hard is the amazing storytelling and, my god, the artwork of Kentaro Miura. His attention to detail is beyond amazing; the pages are like intricate etchings, with cross-hatching so fine and backgrounds so dense that you can get lost in a single panel for minutes. You have to zoom with your eyes or you will miss the details! He really was one of the greatest manga artists of all time, a true master of his craft. It's a shame that he is no longer with us. The thought that if or when the manga end, he won't be here to see the end of the story he dedicated his life to, is a heavy one for fans. That's just how this world is. Cruel. It's a legacy that his team is now committed to continuing, and it's a topic we can all be respectful of. As for the various anime adaptations... well, I won't talk much about them because, in my opinion, most of them don't deserve the honor of adapting such a masterpiece. The manga is the one true way to experience this story.
